Update from Gender Spectrum
Sep 24, 2014
We are extremely excited to announce the launch of our updated website, the new GenderSpectrum.org.
We have worked tirelessly over the last several months to significantly update the content on our website. This has included brand new Resources, dedicated content for the many audiences we work with daily, and an increased focus on creating an inviting place for everyone to share their gender stories.
Here is a preview of what awaits you at our new website.
As one of the most fundamental aspects of self, gender impacts everybody. In our Explore Topics section, you have the opportunity to learn more about issues related to gender for children and teens and learn the impact gender inclusiveness and diversity can have. Each section is dedicated to the various groups we work with on a daily basis – parents and caregivers, medical and mental health professionals, teens, and more have content that is catered specifically to your needs.
We Can Help:
We provide an array of services designed to help families, schools, professionals, and organizations understand and address concepts of Gender identity and expression, including how society’s current definitions of gender can be detrimental to any young person that does not fit neatly into these categories.
Gender Spectrum offers resources to empower your relationships, work, and interactions with youth and children. From how-to guides, to respected research, to sample training materials, we have curated the best content to provide you with the tools necessary to create gender inclusive environments in your homes, offices, and communities.
Everyone has a gender story. By joining the Gender Spectrum Lounge, to following Gender Spectrum on social media, or sharing your own story on our site, we are excited to connect with you and learn from everyone’s gender experiences. What’s your gender story?
We are thrilled to be sharing our work with you. Please share this information with your friends, family members, colleagues and associates. And please let us know if you have any feedback on our new site.
Thank you so much for your continued support of Gender Spectrum. We are excited about where our work will take us next.
